the Hand of God

Do not think that the hand of God is invisible, that it exists only in your words, thoughts, or dreams. The hand of God is in the birds of the air, in the lilies of the field, in the clouds and lights of the sky, in the dust and stones of the earth, in the mountains and trees, in the winds that flow among them, in the waves of the sea, in the fish, in the tender seaweed, in the various beasts, and in the countless little insects that fly and crawl. In all that you see, hear, and know, the hand of God is present. For all things in the world were created by the Word of God, and this Word is God. Therefore, the hand of God is in you, in your heart, and in your life. If all this is now so clear in front of you, and you do not know it, it is because you have abandoned the Word of God and followed the desires of the world. But when the wind blows and you hear a gentle whisper, you can never reject the hand of God.
