When You were Struggling

If you drive out the falsehoods from all around you and set up your truth in their place, people will exalt you. But if there is no God in you, your truth will soon collapse, because it will be revealed as a lie before God. If you drive out the idols from beside you and put your god in their place, your friends will envy you. But if there is no God in you, your god will soon collapse, because it will be revealed as a stumbling block before God. If you drive out the demons from your body and put your talisman in their place, you will rejoice in yourself. But if there is no God in you, your talisman will soon collapse, because it will be revealed as a shame before God. So first go into your heart. There God is waiting for you. The voice you heard when you were struggling with falsehoods, idols, and demons was His calling.
