All life ends in death. That's why people say life is meaningless. Because everything disappears with death. But true life begins from death. Because death is when an old self dies and is reborn as a new self. Only this new person becomes a useful vessel in the world that can take charge of his/her work. It's as if a vessel made of clay is placed in a fire kiln and reborn as a usable pottery object.
