Your Boast

If he is great, look at his smallness, for in it is the greatness of God. This means that you should look not at his greatness, but at God working in his smallness. Then you will know why God makes you small. If he is strong, look at his weakness, for in it is the strength of God. This means that you should look not at his strength, but at God working in his weakness. Then you will know why God makes you weak. If he is high, look at his lowness, for in it is the height of God. This means that you should look not at his height, but at God working in his lowness. Then you will know why God makes you low. Therefore, if you are small, weak, and low, boast about God’s greatness, strength, and height. If you are great, strong, and high, boast about your smallness, weakness, and lowness. That is why God makes you small or great, weak or strong, low or high in this world.
