You fight the darkness not to defeat it, but to find the lost light in it. So when you fight against the darkness, don't look at the darkness, but look at the light in it. Your fight is not to bravely strike away the darkness, but to embrace with your love the light that is fading into the darkness. This is the only way you can overcome the darkness. But if there is no light within you, how can you find that faint light hidden in the darkness?
