Companionship doesn't mean stepping back or staying in that position. It's only one step forward at every moment. God is not God of the past. He never changes, but is always new. It is because there is the salvation of all the days that come and come of the world within Him. Therefore, everything in your life is in that one step you take today. For the moment you take that one step forward, you will see the life of God. This is the secret of walk with your God.
