Love & Desire

The love you know is not love, but just the shadow of love. Therefore, even if you want to practice love, love appears before you for a moment and then vanishes like a shadow. This is because your love is just your desire, not true love. Therefore, don't try to practice love, but rather allow love to practice you. This is the salvation that brings love into your heart. Because the reality of that love is God who gives you salvation. When you are saved in this way, you will know that you didn't find love, but that love first found you. This is the true confession of your love. If you have a heart that wants to love now, it is only a sign that love is seeking you. Remember, love is not your momentary desire, but your eternal life.
