Grace of Atonement

Even if you go deep into your heart, you will not find the right, the truth, or the life in it. They don't come from within you, but are given from heaven above. Instead, you will only see that your heart is deeply corrupted by sin. No matter how heavy the iron bar, the sharp knife, or the delicate tongs you have, you cannot break, drive out, or wash away the sin. The sin is deep in your soul. So even if your body dies in your sin, your soul cannot escape it. You will know it on the Day of the Second Resurrection when you are raised again in your dead body and stand before the Judgment Seat of God. Therefore, when cruel violence, filthy idolatry, or wicked lies are before you, know that all these came from you, not from another. May the Atoning Grace of Jesus Christ come to you. In Him alone are your right, truth, and life.
