Don't Deceive Yourself

If you don't see God in a sip of water, you can't see God no matter how much spring overflows. If you appeal to God for water all day long without wanting it, it's like deceiving yourself. Because thirst without God is of no benefit to you. If you don't hear God in one word, you can't hear God no matter how long the sermon is. If you plead to hear the word of God all night without wanting to, it's like deceiving yourself. Because the word without God is of no benefit to you. If you don't meet God in one step, you can't meet God no matter how far you go. If you beg God to meet you tired without wanting to, it's like deceiving yourself. Because walking without God is of no benefit to you. So don't seek God to get what you want, but just open your heart and receive Him. Because even if you don't know God, He finds you, calls you, and meets you.
