Before the Sun Rises & Before the Sun Sets

If you are with them, work with them when they work, rejoice with them when they are happy, and grieve with them when they are sad, for God has sent you to them. But before the sun rises, you must come out to God alone, because God has called you from them. If you are alone, work with God when you work, rejoice with God when you are happy, and grieve with God when you are sad, for God has called you alone. But before the sun sets, you must return to them, because God has sent you to them. Just as you can do nothing in the world apart from God, so you can do nothing apart from them. Just as you empty yourself and hold God in you as you go out into the world, you must also empty yourself and hold them in you as you go out into the world. This is why God calls you out of the world and sends you into the world.
