Adornment & Source

All truth, goodness, and beauty that you have are all from God. Because God created the world according to His will and sent you into it. In this way, God gives you the truth, goodness, and beauty not so that you can adorn yourself with them, but so that you can become the truth, goodness, and beauty yourself. Nevertheless, if you pretend as if they came from you, or as if you obtained them from the world, or as if you paid a high price for them from others, then in the end your truth will be revealed as false, your goodness as evil, and your beauty as ugliness. Therefore, do not try to adorn yourself with the truth, goodness, and beauty, but rather meet God, the source of all things. Thus, become the truth, goodness, and beauty yourself. This is why God gives you Himself above all else.
