The reason God has given you wealth, honor, and authority is not that you should forget God while enjoying them, but that you should do God's work in that right there. Similarly, the reason God has given you poverty, shame, and oppression is not that you should leave God while resenting them, but that you should do God's work in that right there. You are a light in the darkness. Don't forget, there's only darkness if you are not there.
