the First Step to the Light

If you don't believe, don't attend church, and don't know God, then you are imprisoned by the darkness of the world. You can only see what you see, hear what you hear, and know what you know. Although you think you see, hear, and know everything, they are only a very small part of the world. Nevertheless, you become arrogant before people about what you see, hear, and know, and you become pitiful before people about what you don't see, hear, or know. So just as you are imprisoned by what you see, hear, and know, you are also imprisoned by what you don't see, hear, or know. This is how the false gods of the world rule over those who disobey God. Therefore, don't find freedom, peace, and happiness in the world, but rather seek oppression, discontent, and unhappiness. This is the first step from the darkness of the world to the light of God.
