a Shadow of an Apple

If you love life, you can't help but love death, and if you don't love death, you can never love life. Because at the end of life there is death, and at the end of death there is life. Nevertheless, trying to remove death from life in fear of death is like trying to erase the shadow from a fragrant apple. However, an apple without a shadow can't be eaten, touched, or seen. So instead of pretending not to know death and eventually meet your death at the end of your life, meet your life first at the end of your death. Then you get true love without a shadow. That is the only light of wisdom that illuminates your life.
