If you're not like your true self, you have no choice but to live in imitation of the world. But imitation is not real life. So you should to find your true self. But it's not within you. Because you lost it even before you were born. So now you have to find it outside of you. That is Jesus Christ, the image of God. Because your original appearance was created in the image of God. Follow the example of Jesus Christ. That's the beginning of your true self.
