If you could go to the past or the future, you would only be enveloped in thick fog and darkness. Until you see a ray of light within it, you can no longer go to the past or the future. That light is the light of your salvation. If you follow the light in the darkness, you will finally meet the Light of Creation. Through that first light, you can see the world of the past and future clearly. It is not your world, it is the world of God the Creator. And when you come back to the present and open your eyes again, you will find that it has all already been written in the Bible.
